This is what the yard looked like yesterday morning. It rained in the afternoon, and now the snow is almost gone... so of course, it's going to snow tonight and then it will look like this again.

Winter. I hate you.

My kitchen was spotless for about 5 hours yesterday! Then I made spaghetti last night and had a little boil-over incident. Whoops.

It was sports TV heaven yesterday... So. Much. Racing! And there was baseball and hockey thrown in the mix as well. It was good background accompaniment to knitting and laundry.

I just realized that two months from now the days start getting shorter. What... the hell? So unfair. This winter can just... well.. it can just go away. It's making me crabby and sad.
