It's January-cold in December. What will it be like next month? Yikes! There are a couple weather guys saying that the high temp on Christmas Day will be -17°, and the low temp will be -27°. I just don't even know what to think about that.

Well, I *do* know that this will definitely change our plan for going up to Duluth to see the Bentleyville lights on Christmas night. Even I'm not that crazy.

I have what my doc once told me is a "touchy" gallbladder. It flares up if I eat too much rich/junky/greasy food. Coincidentally, that's about all I ate last weekend, so I spent Monday and Tuesday walking around with an epic gut-ache. It was so icky that I decided to have rice pudding for dinner, because that's all that sounded good, and left Ragazz' to his own devices for dinner. This morning *knocks wood* it seems to have calmed down.

Time to dress in my 55 or so layers and venture out into the tundra. Did I mention that right now it's -6 degrees here, while it's 26 degrees in Anchorage, Alaska? Yup.

  1. We should have a "frozen" day - no school or work!
