Winter!
It's pretty. I'm still determined to remain positive about the whole thing. Check back with me in February.

Oh, how I wanted to just turn off the alarm and go back to bed. I almost did, but then guilt got the better of me. I had a long weekend last weekend, and vacation is in just two weeks. I can do this. Trudge trudge.

I tried to watch the remake of The Sound of Music last night. Tried being the operative word. They got the elements right.. but the acting was terrible. And, really, Maria and Georg will always be Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. So tonight's task: watch the original version. Sing along, even!

Time to bundle up in a hundred layers and face the day. Yippee! Or something.
