That was my dessert from the groom's dinner last night. oh.my.gah. SO good.

T-minus two hours til the ceremony.. they are an awesome couple, and I'm honored to officiate for them. :)

It's a weird time of the year, though. I'm happy and excited about many things.. then I get the twitch of remembering. "Oh my God. Uncle Denny died. We won't see him for Christmas." I believe that his spirit WILL be with us. But I wish I could joke around with him just one more time.

I know that he wouldn't want us to dwell in the sad stuff, though.. so I'm going to get dressed up and hitch up my friends and party and dance and stay in a fancy hotel tonight. Life is short and sweet.. you've gotta enjoy every single minute of it.
