If I close my eyes I can still picture this clearly and put myself here in my mind. It's important to be able to do this when it's 19 degrees outside.

First day back at work yesterday, after almost 2 solid weeks off, and it was a good day. We had some scary money news, followed up with some good money news about an hour later. We know now that we can make it through this month smoothly, and all the rest of the money we get after today goes toward next month. Such is life in nonprofit land. It's all a big lesson in trusting that things will work out.

I didn't know if I'd be able to hit up splash class, but I was able to.. so yay. And the gym was just nutty with all the resolution exercisers. I've never before seen every single bike and treadmill full. Yikes. Class was about the same size, but fully half the people were new. I think a lot of the regulars stayed away, thinking it would be too busy. It was good to start moving again.. I missed that.
