12/365

It's good to have a toy collection at your desk.

Tuesday: the tummy was still bleccch for most of the day. Then I got tired of whining about it and decided to put my head down and just GO to splash class, and that was a good decision. It felt good to move, and more importantly it's an hour where I don't think about other stuff.

I also learned that I don't do my best work when people STAND OVER ME. Ugh. Just... stop. Don't do that.

I had a little back and forth with the bakery manager at the TarGET store. I decided that fresh bagels would be good (we've been on a flavored cream cheese kick). Fresh bagels, not the kind that are cold from the dairy case. So I toddled over to the bakery section.. and all the bagels on the shelf were ice cold, because they had just been pulled out of the freezer! So I asked, "Do you have any fresh bagels?", to which he replied, "The bagels on the shelf are fresh."

I said, "No, those are frozen. I am looking for some that are fresh."

"Those are fresh, they're just frozen."

Me: "...................." (staring incredulously).

Then I walked away, so I guess he won that round. And really, I should just stop at Panera or Brueggers and buy some bagels on the way home today.
