This is one of my most favorite days! How great is this... a whole day just to tell people how much you love them!

Ive said this for years (also there is still no apostrophe, so some words just look weird) - Valentines Day isnt just the coupled up peoples day of luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv.. its EVERYONEs day of luv! I wrote some pretty good thoughts about all of this right here, if you want to take a look. If not, heres the quick-n-dirty:
Theres always enough love to go around.. Open your arms and your heart. Believe it. Be ready to accept it.

Im spending the day hanging out at the Capitol.. my schools are setting up displays telling the whole state how great they are! This is such a cool opportunity for them, and Im so proud that we can do this for them. So even if it means standing around on marble floors for 9 hours or so (ouch in advance!), its all good.

My reward for doing all that is a dinner at my favorite restaurant with my favorite ragazz. Hes the one I waited for all those years. Hes my reward for all the bad first dates, tumultuous relationships, single times, and coupled-but-i-woulda-been-better-off-alone times. If my heart hadnt been broken a few times, I never would have found him.


Totally worth the wait. Im a lucky girl.
