114/365 Lazy River Scarf-Done! Love this yarn.

Projects have been flying off the needles lately. I love this stripey scarf.. the picture doesn't do the colors justice.

Yesterday was the whack-a-doodle-doo day. I was wondering if the moon was full. The good thing was that it made the day fly right by. I followed it up with my triumphant return to Tuesday night splashing - huzzah! One mandatory check-in down.. 5 to go. Heh.

Maybe the snow is done now? Maybe? The commute yesterday was largely uneventful for me. I pick a right lane and just stay there. Mock me if you will for my old-woman driving style on days like that.. but I make it to my destination unscathed. Not so much for the two full size pick-up trucks and one SUV that thought they should be flying down the highway at top speeds. Those three vehicles all spun out at the exact same icy patch on the road and smashed into each other and the guard rails on both sides. Ice: the great equalizer. You can be as big and heavy with huge tires as you want to be.. but once we're on ice we're all the same. So these three chuckleheads brought the entire freeway to a dead stop and we sat there for 20 minutes while they got pulled off to the shoulders. Bah. It didn't look like anyone got hurt, and I resisted the urge to flip them all off as I drove past. Why add insult to injury?

Speaking of my triumphant return to splashing (I was speaking about that, right?) oh-em-gee.. my legs, they are killing me. I like to call this instructor Mrs. JOGALLTHETIME. She never ever lets us stand still, which is great for burning calories and being fit..but OW. Someday I will have supermodel thighs. I'm not even kidding.
