Here's my pretty Welcome basket, before the storm blew it over yesterday afternoon. Oops. I'll have to do a little more prettying-up later this afternoon.

Also - I just found the lost bottle of water that I went crazy looking for right after this picture was taken. Oops part two.

Yesterday - market, lawn decor, laundry (note to self: finish that up today), Sunday dinner, Izzy's run, and then collapse into bed.

... and try to fall asleep. And try and try and try. Good golly. I looked at the clock at 11pm, 1am, 3am.  I finally fell asleep and the alarm went off at 4:15. Arggggh. I'm okay right now, because I've had almost 4 cups of coffee ( !!!!!!! ) but I've got a feeling that it's going to be a little ugly later today.

Also yesterday - we got our money's worth out of the NOAA radio. That thing lost its friggin' mind all afternoon. Tornado watch, and then eleventy million thunderstorm warnings. We finally just turned it off once it was clear that the storms were all in Wisconsin. But - it did its job. I would have had no idea that there was any weather coming our way, because we weren't watching TV or listening to local radio. So.. Yes, obnoxious, but we asked for that.

Short work week: 4 days + 3 hours. I can do this!
