We were happy to see that gas was under $4. And three years ago, I would have never believed I'd be typing that. It rained for most of the trip, too.. but when it's more about the driving than the destination, that's okay.
We saw this pretty little farm between Red Wing and Hastings.
The Hastings Bridge is being replaced, I guess. It's too bad, because the original one is pretty cool.
(and it makes for good, arty photographs.)
We made it home just as rush hour was starting.
It's sunny outside right now (although they're saying some storms will roll through later).. and I'm having a lovely next day of vacation. Class with my favorite splashing teacher, some yard stuff, some laundry.. Life's good.
Even in rain your trip looks wonderful! I have two vases of lilacs in my apt. and going for more. Love their scent! Have a relaxing and peaceful day.
