Weekend recap:

I spent a good chunk of time hanging out online with those RC people, watching my ragazz' and his buddy call the national race. They were very entertaining, and they did a GREAT job.

My two favorite girl cousins came over on Saturday for lunch, crafting and movies. So much fun! They're like the fun sisters I never had.. but I have them NOW, and that's what's important. ::smile:: I made what might be the best soup I've ever whipped up in my life (and I've lived a long time!). It's gramma's soup, almost exactly.   She used to put meatballs in it, and mine had ground beef.. but hey - same same. I need to make this for my ragazz', because I'm pretty sure he will lose his mind with happiness. Heh.

Sunday - I made it to Sunday morning splash class, which has gotten a reprieve (I didn't even know they were thinking about cancelling it). I watched a little more racing, then I hung out with the fam for Dad's Day.

And now it's Monday.. normally not my favorite day of the week, but this one is. Why? Because MY BOY COMES HOME! I'm picking him up at the airport at 9ish, and will be counting the hours until then. And he will get the biggest smooch ever. Awwww.

Time to have a day.
