This picture just makes me smile. So goofy.

I need the smile today. I just found out that Idyllwild, CA, is under a mandatory evacuation because there are multiple fires burning in the mountains above Palm Springs. Idyllwild is one of my favorite places in the world... it's magical. It's Northern Exposure in real life. So I'm praying that there's a safe bubble all around it, and that no one is injured.

We got to see the BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMs new abode last night. They live in Canada about 30 minutes north of us. Their house is like our house, but different. Heh. Sort of the same floor plan, but with enough differences that it doesn't feel exactly the same. I covet their bathroom closet! The whole place is darling, and I couldn't be happier for them. Yay! New house!

We had dinner (yum) and then ice cream (MORE yum) and I was up way past my bedtime, so I let myself sleep in until 4:45 this morning. Decadent.

Time for work. Why isn't it Friday???
