Ciao Lake

We had such a great weekend. We ate well, drank well, laughed, napped, went exploring, went to an awesome birthday/bonfire... just an all-around wonderful, relaxing getaway. I have a feeling that the next time I see the lake the colors will look a lot different.

We made great time coming home on Sunday, so we still had a good long time to get settled back into real life. I had Ragazz' bring the suitcase directly from the car to the basement so I could get everything washed right away. All of our clothes smelled like a campfire which, while wonderful, is probably not appropriate for work or any other time. Everything is washed and folded.. but I ran out of energy to put it all away. oops. That's today's after work project.

I quit watching the football game last night because, really, who wants to see that? I had better things to do, like grafting the second sleeve of the sweater. Yay! I got as far as I could with finish work, then it was time to start hunting around for the NEXT project. I can't have idle needles, you know. I have cute cute yarn that  could knit up into a baby afghan, I just need a good pattern. Or I could do a couple of bears. Or maybe finish up a kitchen set, or the bright pink scarf that's been waiting around for a while. Endless possibilities!

And now, back to work. Oh well.. gotta pay the bills somehow, right?
