365/365 Where each day started.

Finally. 2013 draws to a close, and I'm not going to miss it when it's gone. Yes, there were lots of happy times, but it seemed like for every happy time there was a punch in the gut time; culiminating in Dad getting hit with a stroke on 12/21. I know with absolute certainty that 2014 will be a better year, because it's an even number. Even numbers are always better. (chelelogic. FTW.)

A major accomplishment from 2013 - The Year in Pictures Project which is right here (click). 365 pictures. It started out to be a picture a day.. but then I discovered that some days deserved 2 pictures while others were pretty ordinary. But hey - it all works out. I'll still take a ton of pictures next year (probably well over 365), but no more pressure.

KB and I both had the flu/cold/plague (she's over it, I'm halfway there.), and Mom has laryingitis. Everyone is exhausted, but we're all still here and that's the important thing. Today we'll go see Dad. Then I have to see about putting some groceries back in our cupboard, and maybe, just maybe, a load of laundry will get washed, dried and put away in the same 24 hour period. I don't think we'll party into the wee hours. If I can ring in the new year next to my ragazz' on our very own couch, that would be super awesome.

Happy New Year!
