Hello, snowy Saturday morning. Coffee and internet (and the sound of the dishwasher running in the background). That's the way to start the day.
We've got a plan for the Christmas shopping: do it today, do it quickly, and then have a drink when it's all done. We're very efficient that way.
I rolled up to the stop sign near the house on the way home from work, and peered around the snowbank at the corner. Then I realized - I'm used to the snow already. I get amnesia about winter every year, then I get amnesia about summer every year. Maybe this is a sign that I am, indeed, living in the "Now."
Happy Heart Story: We went to Brasa, and a bonus trip to Izzy's, with some peeps we don't hang out with nearly enough. It was awesome, and we need to make sure that happens again.
Merry, merry.
