It's been nonstop running around busy for the last week or so. But it's summer, so it's to be expected. All the running that we can't do (easily) all winter happens NOW. 

I'm loving Duolingo - the language learning website. I'm on a 50+ day streak right now, *really* learning Italian. I love that it tracks the number of days and the number of vocabulary words (729!) I've got. And whoever writes the lessons is hysterically funny. "Come on captain, we're taking a shower." "A woman is not always a lady - but I'M a lady." "The spider is under my sister's hat."

We drove around Lake Nokomis last night. Holy flooding! It was up over the road in some spots, and probably half of the walking path is under water as well. It's not as bad at Harriet or Calhoun, but (as Ragazz' pointed out) - both of those lakes have way more hilly shorelines. I never thought about that. And also - now we just have Minnehaha River (instead of Creek) I guess. Wow. I can see what they're talking about when they're saying it's not just all going to go away overnight. It can stop raining now. Really.
