I didn't take the solo fair trek on Saturday (my tummy had other plans for me), but the two of us did a quick final run on Monday. I cannot believe that the boy I once had to beg to go to the Fair willingly went THREE times. Mission accomplished. He's a true FairFan now.
Continuing our quest for health and fitness (yeah, who ARE we?) I bought us Fitbits on Sunday. So far, so good. It's a good reminder to drink water (you input the ounces you drink and it tracks them), and I'm surprised at how quickly you can get to 10,000 steps. It tracks sleep, too. Mine will probably start yelling about the little amount that I get during the week.
And now it's OFFICIALLY fall (I say so, even if the calendar doesn't). I saw a school bus rumble by already. It's my favorite season. Because we had such a rainy spring and short summer, I'm hoping we'll get a nice long fall to make up for it. I cannot wait for fall Friday fires in the front yard!
Back to work. It was a nice long weekend, so I'm ready.
