The retreat is almost done.... I'm waiting for the board to finish up some stuff and then we can get on the road homeward. There were so many people here today that we weren't able to get a late checkout. We're hanging out by the pool now, and all in all, it's not a bad place to work on a Wednesday afternoon.

I hit the officially peopled-out point last night right after dinner. I could have gone down to the bonfire at the beach, but really, the bed felt so much nicer, warmer, and more comfortable. And the thing about this place is that every room is far away from every other room. I'm not even kidding. This morning I had to walk back and forth from our room to the meeting room to the board room to our room back to the meeting room to... to... to..... and by 1pm, I already had my 10,000 steps for the day logged. I still have to walk down and back to the meeting room one more time. I'm going to have about eleventy million steps before we get home.

My own bed, my own bathroom, my own STUFF... it will be nice to be back home again.
