This week certainly didn't pan out the way I thought it would. A death in the family and a trip to the ER will do that.

Also, the poor blog gets a little neglected when I'm thrown off of my routine. And I missed writing regularly. Even if there's really nothing to say, I have a need to say it.

BUT. Today, anyway, is a little bit of normal in the crazy. Alarm went off at 4:20, coffee was had (thanks to my sweetheart who always makes the coffee for me), internet was read, and now I'm writing. It's the last day of work for the year. We're having mandatory staff fun time (AKA holiday lunch) at noon and then it's Christmas break.

Ragazz' was still low-powered yesterday, but I could tell he was feeling better in the evening.. he spent time downstairs in the man-cave, working on car stuff. That was his normal in the crazy time.

The way you spend Christmas is far more important than how much.
