I put this on the book of face last night, but I'll share it again because it's too doggone funny. It was a typical Friday night in suburbia. We went shopping for a new shower curtain and a fancy curved curtain rod, then we hung it up while listening to the soothing melodic strains of "Damn it Feels Good to be a Gangsta".
Yeah, I don't know either. But that's how we roll at Chateau del Skar.
The bathroom looks completely beautious, though, and Ragazz' was the one who spotted the cool looking shower curtain. He's got a really good eye for color.. better than me!
We were up pretty early (both of us in bed before 10:30.. that never happens), and he's off to the races. I'm gonna go splash in the pool, and then come home and get ready for Girl Cousin Movies and Crafting Day! YAY! I've said this a million times, but it bears repeating as well. When I fell in love with Ragazz', I inherited some kick-ass girl cousins. I heart them with my whole heart! ♥
One other thought before I'm off and running. OY. What a day it was at work. We were all so tired and dragged out, and I know we were all thinking we could just call it an early day. It didn't work out that way, and by the end of the day I was one raw nerve (and I'd made two trips to the bathroom just to cry a little. I was cranky, and dumb things were setting me off. ugh.). FINALLY it was 3:00. I stopped at the yarn store on the way home, because I'm going to need a new project for today.. and wow! My new neighborhood yarn store was a hopping, warm, friendly place. I wandered around and got lost in the colors and textures and snippets of conversation.. it was totally rejuvenating. Really. I felt about 1000% better when I left. Then I came home and Ragazz' was waiting at the top of the steps for me with a big hug. No one hugs better than him. He makes my heart happy.
TL;DR version: it was a crappy day at work, but it got better after 3:00. Happy Saturday!
