Riding the bike in real life (versus in gym life) is a lot different. For example - there are hills. REAL hills. Bah. But I'm happy to report that I could and did bike up some not-too-terrible hills on the bike last night and I lived to tell the tale. And I know that when I have a *real* bike - not a cruiser, like I have now - it'll be even easier. For one thing, I'll have more than just 3 gears. Heh.
So we did the biking thing and burned 600+ calories or so. That's more than I would have burned in the Wednesday night splash class. I couldn't go to splash class because I colored my hair right after work and I didn't think that LAF would like it if hair color ran into their nice clean pool. I have to give it a couple more days to settle down before I go jumping into chlorinated water.
I keep thinking that it's Friday. Uh oh. This does not bode well for the day.
