That was just about as perfect as summer evenings get. It was warm but not humid. A grill was fired up, grass was being mowed, cars were being washed, kids played basketball in the street. We wandered across the street and visited with the neighbors. It was good to finally meet some people that we'd only waved to and saw from afar. We stayed until the mosquitos finally got to us (holy bug bites.. thank goodneAss for calamine lotion). A really really fun night.
