Next year I will make sure that a few of my vacation days are saved for Chautauqua. What an awesome experience.

The most important (and validating) thing I learned? That my writing is, you know, pretty good. Heh. There's a book hiding in here somewhere. And sometime I'll just have to sit down and start coaxing it out for the world to see. There's still a lot to process about what happened in that class. That's a story for another day.

I got home and sent the boy off to another racing event. (He's kind of a big deal.. did I mention that?) Then I taught some splashing (getting paid to exercise? win!), and met one of my oldest friends for dinner (we're not old..our friendship is!).

Why didn't I think to take today off, too? I obviously did that wrong.
