THESE SHOES. I've been waiting to own these shoes for my entire life.. I just hadn't yet discovered that.
It's a beautiful Saturday in suburbia. One neighbor is mowing his lawn. Two others are doing boat maintanence. Another is chasing his toddler around the yard (as the toddler is chasing the dogs around the yard). Me? I'm content to watch it all from my kitchen window and then write about it.
I'm headed off to as far south as I can go and still be considered in the same metro area. I'm meeting Luuuuuuuuuuucy for lunch and chatting. Because, evidently, all I do while Ragazz' is out of town is meet friends for various meals. Then I need to do a little dress shopping (I have to look presentable for hitchin' up the brides in a couple of weeks!), but no other chores. I feel a little lazy and a lot decadent.
I'm still not quite ready to write about all that went on in the writing class, although I've told a few people about it. It's nothing bad, but rather quite good. I'm still just trying to put my brain all the way around it.
Oops. I forgot about going to Saturday splash class. Well, really, I just slept through it. I got 10 hours of sleep last night - double the amount I usually get. That's like a normal person getting 16 hours of sleep. Yikes. That's what this unusual feeling is.. I'm not even one teeny bit sleepy. How novel.
Andiamo.
