Baby Blanket! It looks a lot better when it's spread out and blocked.

I had a really hard time falling asleep last night, and ended up sleeping with the lights on. I miss that guy of mine.

Last night I tried a different basic dough recipe (one that's SUPER easy), and made paninis. The verdict? It would be great pizza dough, but it's a little bland for bread or rolls. Next time I make them, probably tonight, I'll add butter and a teeny bit more salt to the dough.

It's supposed to be in the 50's today, so that means the outside tree is definitely going up this afternoon. YAY! Christmas is coming to the Chateau.

It is mid-November. Seriously, wasn't it just May?
