I can tell that the year is getting busier, because the blogging is getting spottier.

Ragazz' set off yesterday for a week-long race in Milwaukee. Those racer boys are quite excited about this one.. there's lots of chatter about it. I'm taking advantage of my single-lady time by having crafty (drinky!) day on Saturday, a knitting class on Sunday, and lots of catch-up dinners with people. I still don't sleep as well when he's not there. House noises always seem louder. And I'm never quite as warm without his built-in furnace powers.

Two of the satellite radio channels have switched to holiday music. This makes me want to get the tree decorated OMG RIGHT NOW. This year's theme is "Solid Gold", and now I'm wishing that we had a disco-ball for the top of the tree! HA! Really, I'm just doing gold ornaments and garland. It will be shiny and wonderful.

Maybe I'll just put the little porch tree out this weekend. That would be a good start.
