Well, it finally happened.

I've been taking Italian online (using two really cool sites: Duolingo and Memrise) for the last month. Between those two sites and the Italian I've already taken - and what I just absorbed by osmosis growing up - I've probably got about 600 vocabulary words solidly planted in my head. And last night I had a dream that was at least partially in Italian. Ha! Yes, it was a little weird, and I had people telling me that they wanted a little wine (Vorrei del vino, per favore), and I was telling them that I was from the US (Io vengo dagli Stati Uniti) and, unexpectedly, that my shoes were electric (il mie scarpe sono eletricci!)... but the words were there and I spoke and understood all of them. Pretty cool. Il mio papa would be proud of me.

Also - HOCKEY. Oh, New York Rangers.... Methinks your days in the playoffs are numbered. The LA Kings looked meraviglioso last night. This will sorely disappoint The Todd™
